CEO Statement

“More than 10 years ago, in 2013, at the heart of the Tunisian revolution, I was a Senior consulting engineer specialized in C, E&I, and had the opportunity to collaborate with major international companies. However, I quickly realized that the Jasmine Revolution was opening up new perspectives of freedom and exceptional opportunities for our beloved country. It was at that moment that I made the bold decision to follow my entrepreneurial dream and launch KDE Technologies.”

Mr. Amine DabbabiKDE Founder and Chief Executive Officer

At the beginning of this journey, we were only five collaborators, but we joined strengths for KDE to thrive. This ambitious vision we had from the beginning materialized much faster than we could have imagined. In less than three years since our establishment, we embarked on the careful development of our quality management system, meticulously drafting each procedure. As a result, we obtained ISO 9001 certification in 2016.

In 2017, a decisive moment occurred for KDE, marked by the signing of one of our most important contracts. At that time, we entered into a major partnership with Samsung Engineering and Construction Limited in Algeria for the implementation of our C, E&I expertise in the development of a crucial CPF Gas project. This key moment, which we call the “D-Click,” was a crucial milestone in our journey and strengthened our reputation.

Today, KDE Technologies has become one of the leaders in the electrical, instrumentation, and automation services sector, with recognized expertise in the fields of oil and gas, chemistry, petrochemistry, cement, and water treatment. We have successfully completed projects on four continents, including our recent collaboration with a prestigious Canadian company in 2021, demonstrating our ongoing commitment to continuous development and alignment with emerging technologies. We have made significant investments in the concept of Industry 4.0 and the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT).

Furthermore, our story would not be complete without mentioning our resilience in the face of adversity. When the COVID-19 pandemic struck in 2020, it brought unexpected challenges. However, KDE did not falter. We showed solidarity with our valuable workforce, refusing to leave anyone behind. Despite the tough times, we kept our staff intact and redoubled our efforts to weather the storm.

We are proud to say that since the end of 2021, we have successfully revived our operations. This not only demonstrates our resilience but also our ability to adapt and thrive even in the most difficult conditions.

KDE is stronger than ever, and we are ready to face future challenges with the same determination and passion that have guided us from the very beginning of this incredible entrepreneurial journey.
