Scope Of Work:
- Determination of SIL Level of Existing Loops:
- Conduct a comprehensive assessment of the existing safety instrumented systems (SIS) loops.
- Perform a SIL determination analysis to assess the risk reduction capabilities of each loop.
- Determine the current SIL levels for each loop based on the analysis.
- Audit of the Existing Installation:
- Conduct an audit of the entire existing installation to identify any deficiencies, deviations from standards, or areas where safety integrity may be compromised.
- Document findings from the audit, including equipment conditions, maintenance practices, and operational procedures.
- Implementation of an Action Plan to Reach SIL2 Level:
- Develop a detailed action plan to improve the existing loops and elevate them to SIL2 level if they do not already meet this requirement.
- Specify the necessary modifications, upgrades, or replacements needed for each loop to achieve SIL2 compliance.
- Define a timeline and budget for the implementation of the action plan.
- Preparation of a Detailed Technical File of the Solution:
- Create a comprehensive technical documentation package that includes detailed engineering plans, diagrams, specifications, and calculations for the proposed solutions.
- Ensure that the documentation complies with relevant safety standards and regulations.
- Certification of SIL2 Loops with an Accredited Control Office:
- Collaborate with an accredited control office or certification body to conduct the SIL2 certification process.
- Provide all necessary documentation, test results, and evidence to demonstrate that the loops now meet SIL2 requirements.
- Collaborate with the certification body throughout the certification process, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
